It was our third day in Chikkamagalur we went to
👉Bhadra Tiger Reserve
👉Hirekolale Lake
👉MG Park
We started our trip quite early by 5AM because our first stop was quite far and we wanted to take the first Safari ride. The cost of Safari Ride was 600 per person. The place is popularly known as Muthodi Wildlife Sanctuary, it is declared a Project Tiger reserve. But it is also a great place to sight and observe other mammals, reptiles and birds.
Next we stopped near Hirekolale Lake, it lies between the lush greenery and mountain ranges. This is a man made lake. It offered such a mesmerising view to our eyes.
Lastly we went to MG park, whose entry fees is Rs.40 per person, it is filled with greenery. It is a great place to relax and get fresh air.
This is how we planned our weekend getaway trip to Chikkamagalur, we traveled from Bangalore in KSRTC electric bus.
