It was Day 1 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. We planned on exploring the nearby places:
👉Ahar Museum
👉 Ahar cenotaphs
👉 Local Shopping at Hathi Pol
We reached Udaipur in the morning, then we headed towards our hotel, as it was our first day of the trip we decided to explore nearby archaeological sites.
We took an autorickshaw and went to Ahar Museum, it is an Archaeological Museum and the entry fees was Rs.30 per person. This museum is so informative and well managed and it took us almost 2 hours as we were reading every information given.
After this we went to have lunch and there are Dhabas in walking distance, we enjoyed local Rajasthani food, it was delicious.
And then we went to Ahar cenotaphs, this is an Archaeological Site, the architecture was very nice, you can just walk around and see the architecture and click photos.😊
After this we planned to visit some local shops, so we took an autorickshaw and went to Hathi Pol, there were so many shops, we purchased so many things for ourselves as the prices were inexpensive. There were so many collections of Ethnic Long Skirts, Printed Shirts and the famous Badhani print Kurtas, beautiful Juttis, and some souvenirs. After shopping we headed back to our hotel.
We traveled in Autorickshaw as it is very easily available and they were very friendly too.
