It was our third day in Mysore we went to
👉Lalitha Mahal Palace
👉St.Philomena’s Cathedral
👉Karanji Lake
We started our road trip at 11AM, we reached our first stop by 11:20AM, it was around 6km from our hotel. Entry fees was Rs.100 per person and they offer free high tea , but as we went for lunch at the “The Sapphire” restaurant which is a part of the palace, we didn’t have to pay entry fees and parking was free. It is a beautiful, magnificent palace. This is Garuda's bungalow in the movie KGF and KGF 2
After lunch we headed towards St.Philomena’s Cathedral. This is a remarkable example of Gothic Architecture. It looks majestic. This is one of the tallest churches in Asia.
Lastly we went to Karanji Lake, popularly known as Fountain Lake. Entry fees for Adults was Rs.10 and for boating it was an extra Rs.25 for adults. This natural habitat has the largest aviary in the country. It is an ideal place for birdwatchers. It has over 147 different species of birds.
After this we headed for Saree Shopping and ended our day.
