Entry fees to Bird Sanctuary is Rs.75 per person and parking fees is Rs.60 and Boating for Rs.100 per person. It was a nice boat ride we experienced lots of birds and even we saw alligator. There is a small gift shop from where we got souvenir and then we roamed around the garden. Best Month to visit is between June and November.
At our next stop we reached in around 15min, as it is 5.7kms, and ticket price is Rs.15 per person. Archaeological Survey of India maintains the Palace, it is surrounded by beautiful trees and green lawns, inside the Palace it is not allowed to take videos or photos of ourselves. You can click pictures of the beautiful floral motif walls and read the information given about the palace. It was a very good experience and the Palace is really beautiful.
Next we went to Gumbaz, which is around 3kms from Palace and it is a very calming and relaxing place to sit and spent sometime, there are lot of shops outside Gumbaz from where we got few decorative items.
After lunch we went to KRS backwaters which is 21kms from Gumbaz the area is so beautiful and looks too good , in the hot summer it felt so much cooler near the backwaters, we spent sometime there & then visited Venugopala Swamy Temple which is located near the dam itsel. After sometime we moved towards our next & last location of the day.
Next we went to BrindavanGarden which is 3kms from KRS backwaters.Garden entry fees is Rs.50 per person and 4-wheeler parking Rs.100.We couldn’t experience fountain show, because of some maintenance work, but generally it happens on Sunday evening at 7PM, we spent sometime there and then had a cup of tea.
We headed towards our hotel. I really hope this guide will help you to plan your trip to Mysore. Happy Travelling.. Wait for Day 3😊
